Travis P. Wallace
age 72, of Sherrodsville, passed away peacefully early Sunday afternoon, March 3, 2013, in his home following an extended illness.

Born at Dover, Feb. 21, 1941, he was a son of the late Bert and Elsie Solly Wallace. Mr. Wallace entered the United States Marine Corps in May, 1958, and earned honorable discharge as a Lance Corporal in March, 1962. He was a life member of the Tusco Gun Club.
Survivors include his wife, the former Linda Gardner, whom he wed May 10, 1969. Their family includes a daughter, Debra (Paul) Shaw of Bolivar; sons, Preston Wallace of Alabama, and Dallas Wallace of Sherrodsville; daughters, Lawanna (Brian) Griffith of New Philadelphia, Tina (Alan) Swauger of Mineral City; and a son, Eric (Tammy) Lorenz of Dennison. 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Patricia Turner of New Philadelphia; and three brothers, Arthur Wallace of Arkansas, Edward Wallace of New Philadelphia, and Terry Wallace of Aaron, Ohio who completes the family .
Cremation is planned, without visitation or public services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 6895 Dover Zoar Road NE, Dover, OH 44622.
