Jack W. Rogers Graham, 79, of Watseka passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Gilman Health Care Center.
Jack was born August 20, 1934 in Frankfort, IN, the son of Jesse and Nette Lucille Watt Graham. He married Sharen M. Rabe on February 1, 1964 in Watseka and she preceded him in death on July 4, 2010.
He is survived by two daughters, Julie (Tom) Metschuleit of Bourbonnais and Jodie (Alsion) Neal of Crescent City; five grandchildren, Logan Metschuleit, Mara Metschuleit, Colton Sample, Preston Neal and Payton Neal; two brothers, Ralph Eugene Graham of Kokomo, IN and David (Ann) Rogers of Carrier Mills; and one sister, Thelma Courtney of Kokomo, IN.
In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents; his foster parents, Edward and Helen Watt Rogers; one brother; and three sisters.
Mr. Graham was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka. He served in the Air Force from 1955-1963, was employed at A.O. Smith for 34 years and worked at Howard Industries for 8 years. Jack was a former coach of the Woman's Softball League and loved playing and coaching baseball and softball.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka. Rev. Donald Love will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka with military graveside rites by Watseka American Legion Post #23 and Iroquois County VFW
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka and for 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Memorials may be made to Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka, Kankakee Valley Hospice or Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka.
