Doris Ralph Obituary

Doris M. Ralph, 82, Watseka, died Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Faith Place, Danforth.
She was born Dec. 24, 1927, in Stockland Township, the daughter of George and Helen Dundas Peters.
She worked for 33 years as a proofreader and plate maker for Uarco.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Watseka. She also was a member of Eastern Star, Red Hat Society, and Watseka Home Extension. She enjoyed china painting, doll making, crocheting, camping and traveling.
She married Wendal Keith Ralph Aug. 9, 1946, in Monticello, Ind. He survives in Watseka.
Also surviving are sons and daughters-in-law: Wendal W. and Kathy Ralph of Littleton, Colo., and Stephen and Pam Ralph of Conway, Ark.; daughters and sons-in-law: Cheryl Lietz and Larry McGuire of Clinton, and Karen and Richard Vance of Arrowsmith; six grandchildren: Jennifer Martinez, Julene Robbins, Chauntel Wissmiller, Lindsay Vance, Samuel Ralph and Ehren Lietz; five great-grandchildren: Matthew Contreras, Mariah Contreras, Haley Wissmiller, Anna Robbins and Ethan Robbins; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka, and also one hour prior to the funeral services.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010, at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Copeland officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Watseka.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Watseka; American Cancer Society; or to the donor's choice.
