Eldon White Obituary

Eldon Lawson White, 64, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, in Bourbonnais.
He was born on December 6, 1951, in Elkhart, IN, the son of John Lawson and Dorothy Lois McClellan White.
He married Debora Lyn Ferch on December 20, 1975 in Mundelein, IL. She survives.
Surviving are his three brothers and sisters-in-law; Melvin and Sharon White of Kinross, Iowa, Raymond and Wanda White of Danville, IL, and Royal and Patricia White of Beardstown, IL. One sister and brother-in-law; Caryl and Robert Lawson of Bourbonnais, IL. He is also survived by five God children.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Eldon was self-employed and worked in the lawn care industry. He was a member of the Sheldon Church of the Nazarene in Sheldon. Eldon enjoyed helping other people.
Visitation will be from 6-9PM on Friday, July 15, 2016, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Kankakee, IL..
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016, with a 1 hour visitation prior to services at the First Church of the Nazarene in Kankakee, IL. Dr. Larry McKain and Rev. John Story will officiate.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
Memorials may be made to the Lighthouse Food Pantry or the Center of Hope Food Pantry.

So sorry to hear of Eldons passing. I remember working in the shoe store next to the IGA grocery store he worked is as a teenager. A very pleasant young man. I always enjoyed our conversation. I don't remember him ever being in a bad mood.
