Earl Edward Roth, Sr., 68, Watseka, died Friday, November 23, 2012, at his home.

He was born July 3, 1944, a son of George A. Roth, Sr. and Ester Wencl.
Mr. Roth gave 40 years of service for 597 Pipe Fitter Welfare Fund.
He loved his grandchildren and all children. He loved talking to people and always wanted to make people laugh. He enjoyed his dogs Oreo and Meko.
He married Sharon Perzee on January 6, 2006, at their home in Watseka, and she survives.
Other survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Georgia and Gary Stroud of Valparaiso, Ind.; five sons and three daughters-in-law: Earl Roth, Jr., and Amy, of Indiana, Jason and Sheryl Leadingham of Watseka, Brent Leadingham of Watseka, Jeffrey and Connie Leadingham of Watseka, and Travis Leadingham of Watseka; one brother and sister-in-law, George A. Roth, Jr., and Paula of Hobart, Ind.; one sister and brother-in-law, Georgia Herzog of Merrillville, Ind., and Don Raehl of Merrillville, Ind.; 11 grandchildren: Nicholas (Danielle) Szymanski, Kelly (Clif) Szymanski, Jacob Roth, Jessica Roth, and Rachael, Brenna, Sebrina, Krissy, Julyn, Haley, and Hunter Leadingham; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sandy; his mother-in-law, Sylvia Perzee; and one brother-in-law, Larry.
Cremation rites have been accorded with the Baier Funeral Home in Watseka.
Per his request, there will be no services.
