Marilyn Tegtmeyer Witman, 78, of Watseka passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Watseka Rehab & Health Care Center.

Marilyn was born July 26, 1935 in Watseka, the daughter of Campbell and Velma Bear Riddle and they preceded her in death. She married Roger Tegtmeyer on June 3, 1953 at Schwer and he preceded her in death on December 29, 1967. She later married Harry E. Witman on February 14, 1998 in Watseka and he preceded her in death on September 28, 2010. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Kelli Tegtmeyer.
She is survived by three daughters, Glenda (Pup) Carlson of Watseka, Karen (Jim) Yana of Sheldon and Marla Tegtmeyer of Watseka; four grandchildren, Jason (Jackie) Hawkins of St. Anne, Carrie Ann Yana of Sheldon, Steve Yana of Watseka and Nick Dillon of Kankakee; and two great-grandsons, Jackson & Jameson Hawkins of St. Anne.
Mrs. Witman was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Watseka. She was a homemaker and had worked at Watseka Variety & News and Pickens Pharmacy for 18 years.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. funeral service on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Rev. David Spotts will officiate. Burial will be in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery at Schwer.
Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Watseka or Iroquois Memorial Hospice.
