Todd J. Leon, age 52, a lifelong resident of Little Falls, NY, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016. Todd was surrounded with family love and his passing occurred at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, town of New Hartford, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born February 1, 1963, in Little Falls, a son to Dayton B. and Florence (Jones) Leon, Sr., and was educated in Little Falls schools. He worked at Daniel Green Shoe Company, Hale Furniture, and as a cook at the East End Steakhouse. Todd loved music and had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He loved to follow sports and his favorite teams were the Yankees, Bills, and Syracuse. He was a very hard worker, excelled at painting, and first and foremost above all, loved his son, Gabriel, with all of his heart.
He is survived by his parents, Dayton and Florence; his son, Gabriel Leon; his sisters, Kim Mahoney and her husband, Rich, Cindy Uhlig and her husband, Ron, Deborah Jones and her husband, Tom, Tonya Leon and her companion, Steve Slaboc, Analisa Judge and her husband, Jeff, and Holly Dreueske; his brothers, Dayton Leon, Jr., and his wife, Candice, and Joseph Leon; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and many special friends, including Cristi and Tracey. He was predeceased by his brother, Lamar "Mark" Leon.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2015, at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe St., Little Falls. Todd's funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. following the calling hours at the funeral home with Pastor Chris J. Wintermute officiating. Spring interment will take place in Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls.
His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Funeral Directors Harry J. and Kevin E. Enea of the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe St., Little Falls.
