Shea, William ALBANY William F. Shea Jr, 82, died August 20, 2014 at Albany County Nursing Home. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late William and Clara Herbst Shea. He was a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran. Mr. Shea was a former employee of Schaefer Brewing Co. He enjoyed playing football, baseball, swimming and going to shows. He has traveled to 52 countries, and his nick names were Big Bully or The Bull. He was the husband of the late Maxien M. Shea; brother of Mary Steinbach, Margaret Kulzer and John Shea; many nieces and nephews survive. Funeral services Monday, August 25, 2014 at 8:15 a.m. from McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St., Albany thence to Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany at 9 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment, Graceland Cemetery. To Bill's family and friends,
I met Bill at the albany county nursing home when I visited a friend. In chatting with him one day I found out he worked at the Schaefer brewery with my dad Pete morawski. Bill was one sharp guy that "never got old." He was as neat as a pin and was a fine person.sorry to see him go.

I remember watching the movie "Carrie" with Billy and Maxine for the first time, had ice cream, and played with their Light Bright as a kid
