Babin, Robert L. ROTTERDAM Robert L. Babin, 64, of Rotterdam, died at home on Sunday, January 18, 2015. Born in Niskayuna, Robert graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School in 1968. For several years, Robert owned and operated the Sunoco service Station on Erie Blvd in Schenectady and was currently employed as a lab technician with GID Global LLC. He served in the Air National Guard in Scotia for six years and was a member of the Albany-Schenectady Chapter of the Harley Owners Group. Robert was predeceased by two sons, Todd Babin and Michael Babin; and his parents, George and Edith Albright Babin. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Hiller Babin; step daughter, Victoria Marchesani; step-granddaughter, Samantha Titshaw; his brother, Thomas Babin; one niece, Rebecca Babin; and three great- nephews. Badolato, Teresa A. WATERVLIET Teresa A. Badolato, 79, of Watervliet died on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Rosewood Gardens. Teresa was born in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late Nicola and Ida (Brigante) Fuccillo. Terry had worked as a secretary and administrative assistant for various places throughout her career and was an active member in Albany Baptist Church. She was an avid pianist and enjoyed classical music and Operas. Predeceased by her sister, Adele Amato. Teresa is survived by her two sons, Joseph J. (Deborah) Badolato and Nick (Dawn Marie) Badolato and she was the proud grandmother of Anthony, Christopher, Ryan, Joseph, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Alyssa and Nicolas. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc., 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer. Friends and family are invited to attend her calling hours from 9:30 - 11 a.m. prior to the funeral. Interment will be in Blue Mountain Cemetery on Cemetery Rd. in Saugerties. Baldwin, Christopher M. COHOES Christopher M. Baldwin, 37, of Lincoln Avenue in Cohoes died suddenly at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy, on Thursday, January 22, 2015, after being stricken at his home. Born in Troy and educated in Cohoes, he was the son of Michael and Deborah Kenyon Baldwin of Cohoes. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Brenda Oldham Baldwin of Cohoes; his children, Caleb and Caitlyn Baldwin of Cohoes; his sister, Melissa (Jonathan) Magin of Cohoes. Son-in-law of Leonard and Wanda Oldham of Cohoes; brother-in-law of Leonard and Tina Oldham of Cohoes, also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral, Monday, January 26, 2015, at 11 a.m., at the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc., 216 Columbia St., Cohoes, with Deacon Gerard Matthews officiating. Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes. Becker III, Jacob - Albany  
Becker, Jacob III ALBANY Jacob Becker III, 85 years of age, loving husband of Margaret (Ashline) Becker for 61 years, passed away peacefully at Memorial Hospital on January 20, 2015. Born on January 17, 1930, in Albany, he was the son of the late Rose (Kelly) and Jacob Becker Jr., and grandson of Jacob Becker. Jake had been a past business executive at J. Becker & Sons Inc., and president/ owner of Northeast Thermo King. He also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his five children, spouses, and nine grandchildren; Lance Becker and grandsons, Craig and Eric, Bruce Becker and granddaughters, Erin and Maya; Scott and Ellen Becker and grandsons, Max and Sam; Lynne Becker and granddaughters, Alexandria and Natalie; Joyce and John Yanusas and granddaughter Elyse. Jake was predeceased by sister Lois and brothers, James and Lawrence; survived by his sisters, Jane Rauch and Rosemary Smead. At the family's request, a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers and donations, Jake would wish for you to enjoy and celebrate life. Benaquisto, Jessie NISKAYUNA Jessie Benaquisto, 88, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness. Jessie was born on September 26, 1926 in Schenectady to Nicola DeLucia and Lucia Testa DeLucia. Jessie married Cresanzo Benaquisto on June 13, 1948. He predeceased her on December 31, 1986. Jessie was loving, kind, generous and selfless. She will be missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know her. She enjoyed her jobs as a secretary at Higgins, Roberts, Beyerl and Coan and the Schenectady Boys Club. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters, who she loved dearly. She is survived by her daughters, Christine (William) Dooley of Niskayuna, Lucia Benaquisto (Steve Rytina) of Montreal, Canada, and Patrice Ann Hiller of Niskayuna; granddaughters, Nicole Dooley, Danielle and Ariana Hiller. Predeceased by her son-in-law, George Hiller. Calling hours, Wednesday, January 21, 2015, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home, 5216 Western Tpke., just west of Carman Road. Bennett, George E. "Butch" ALBANY George E. "Butch" Bennett, 70, of Westview Apartments died on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his home. Born in Albany, Butch was the son of James and Mary Piechnik Bennett. He retired from the Senior Citizens Services, located on Delaware Ave. in Albany after 44 years of service. Butch was an avid New York Yankees and Giants fan and also enjoyed bowling, dancing and spending time with family and friends. He will be deeply missed. Butch was the brother of James Bennett (Agnes), Richard Bennett (Karla), Robert Bennett, Frank Bennett (Tina), Mary Ann Davis (Hank), Constance Pfistner (John), John Bennett (Debbie), Barbara Evans (William) and the late Joan Munson (Harvey), Elizabeth Fulton (Walter) and Joseph Bennett; brother-in-law of Bonnie Bennett; companion of the late Lois Ellsworth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday. Bingham, Lisa H. NASSAU Lisa H. Bingham, 36, of Donna Lane died unexpectedly on Monday, January 19, 2015 at her residence. Born in Troy, Lisa was the daughter of Charles G. Bingham of East Nassau and the late Joyce Lawton. Lisa was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of the New Lebanon High School. She had at one time worked for the New York State Thruway Authority and most recently was a stay at home mom. Survivors, in addition to her father, include her son, Rafael Lazala; her brother, Chuck (Mindy Quinn) Bingham of New Lebanon; aunt of Carlie Quinn and Charles Bingham III.
