Roberts, Audrey H. SCHENECTADY Audrey H. Roberts, 71, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Bowles. Audrey was a resident at Omni Senior Living of Guilderland. She worked for Price Chopper, St. Margaret Home and Hospital for Babies, and SEFCU. Audrey enjoyed shopping, collecting, sewing and crafts. She loved vacationing in Myrtle Beach. Along with her parents, Audrey was predeceased by her first husband of 21 years, Benedict Tuper; second husband of five years, Roger Roberts and companion William Richard. She will be missed by her children, Tracy (Gary) Francis of East Greenbush, Thomas Tuper of Schenectady, Timothy Tuper of Colonie, and Audra (Bob) Allen of Colonie; siblings, Sheila Furman of Texas, Kimberly Florey of Pa., Barbara Bowles of Calif., and David Bowles of Albany; grandchildren, Jason Witham of Pa., Kristopher Francis of East Greenbush, Joshua Tuper of Queens, and Amanda Allen of Colonie; great-grandson, Michael Witham, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 21 at 6 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Memorial calling hours will precede the service from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Robinson, Rita TROY Rita "Vita" Robinson passed away at Schuyler Ridge in Clifton Park on April 15, 2014. Born on May 23, 1915 in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Piampiano, went to School 10 in South Troy and was a life long resident of Troy. She worked at Cluett, Peabody and Co., at Snow White Laundry, as a waitress at her cousin's restaurant, Rotundi's and, most importantly, was a homemaker, raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren. Rita loved to cook, garden, her home and being with family. She was predeceased by her parents; by her loving husband of 42 years, William Robinson; her sister, Mary Marchese, formerly of Latham; an infant brother, Sam Piampiano; her sisters-in-law, Esther Maloney and Florence Dedrick; and her daughters-in-law, Joyce Robinson, formerly of Alabama and Virginia Robinson, formerly of Troy. Rita is survived by her two sons, William (Janice) Robinson of Huntsville, Ala. and Joseph Robinson of Troy; her daughter, Mary Ann (James) Krupsky of Clifton Park; seven grandchildren, William Joseph Robinson and Jay Robinson of Alabama, Karen (Dave) Miller of Averill Park, Joseph (Rachel) Robinson of Mason, Ohio, Thomas (Tricia) Robinson of Fountain Inn, S.C., Rachel Krupsky of Clifton Park, and Jason Krupsky of Stowe, Vt.; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Our appreciation goes out to the staff of Schuyler Ridge for the years of wonderful care and love shown to our mother. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 22 at Corpus Christi Church, Route 9, Round Lake. A visitation period will be held from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Troy. Romano, Kathleen A. Kelly AVERILL PARK Kathleen A. Kelly Romano, 72, of Charles Land Apartments died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at her residence after a brief illness. Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Samuel Kelly and Helen O'Brien Kelly and wife of the late Wallace Romano. She was raised in Center Brunswick and resided in Averill Park since 1975 and was a graduate of Troy Public School 18 in Sycaway and Catholic Central High School. Mrs. Romano was a self-employed seamstress for many years. Horseback riding was her passion. She was a communicant of St. Henry's Church in Averill Park. Survivors include a son, John May of Sand Lake; a daughter, Kimberly May Schiavone of Colonie; a brother, Daniel (Kate O'Hare) Kelly of West Palm Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren, Mascen, Mitchell and Veronica Schiavone and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Monty Kelly and a sister, Helene Dupree. Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 4392 Route 150, West Sand Lake on Monday, April 14, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home and at 11 a.m. at St. Henry's Church, Averill Park where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Thomas F. Holmes, pastor. Interment will be in St. Henry's Cemetery, Averill Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Kathleen A.
