Oechsner, Alfred F. BRUNSWICK Alfred F. Oechsner, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 24, 2013 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his daughters, Heather and Rebecca; his beloved granddaughter, Kaleigh McCall; and several nieces and nephews. Al devoted his 40-year career to Price Chopper Supermarkets as a store manager. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served as a military police officer in New York City. Al loved spending time with his family, R.V. camping in the Adirondacks, taking family trips and vacations, and spending time with his granddaughter, Kaleigh. A celebration of Al's life will be held on Friday morning, March 29, 2013 at 11:00 at W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in St. Henry's Cemetery, Averill Park.
