Arthur Forgue

Forgue, Arthur WATERVLIET Arthur W. Forgue, 79, of Watervliet and New Port Richey, Fla., passed away on Saturday March 22, 2014, at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Betty L. McGuire Forgue who passed away in 2013. Born in Albany, Art was the son of the late Arthur J. and Dorothy L. Lockskin Forgue. A lifelong resident of Watervliet, he spent the last ten years traveling between Watervliet and Florida with his wife Betty. Art worked for over 25 years as a machinist at the former Eastern Tablet Company in Albany. He also worked as property manager for Picotte Reality. Art was a member of the Watervliet Elks Lodge #1500 and the Latham Knights of Columbus. He was an avid Yankees fan and loved to socialize with friends and family. He will be truly missed. Survivors include his children, Arthur M. (Dawn) Forgue of Clifton Park, Robin (Tony) Ford of Raymertown, Stephanie (Dan) Dolan of Menands and Jeffrey M. (Shannyn) Forgue of Las Vegas; his sister, Dorothy (Gary) Pulsifer; his stepchildren, Kevin Wright, Kelly (Lori) Wright and Korey (Chrissy) Wright; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Nick) Tychostup, Jenelle (Aaron) Castilla, Michelle (Matt) Forgue, Joshua Cornwell, Heather (Ian) Lewis, Nichole (Matt) Ford , Tyler VanApeldorn, Sarah Dolan, Raina and Gavin Forgue; his stepgrandchildren, Joshua, Morgan and Kendall Wright; and his great-grandchildren, Cooper Castilla, Braden Tychostup and Sawyer Lewis. In addition to his wife Betty, he was predeceased by his stepdaughter, Karen (William) Bushell; his great-granddaughter, Siena Lewis and his siblings, Edward and Armand Forgue. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service.
