Moore, James E. WEST SAND LAKE James E. Moore, 55, the sun rose for him on July 17, 1957 and the sun set on December 30, 2012. He was born in Albany to the late Ransom and Ann (Predel) Moore. James was a 1975 graduate of Guilder-land High School, where he met his wife. He then went on to become co-owner of Moore Fire Extinguisher Co. in Albany. Jim was a lover of the outdoors; whether it was golfing, cruising Lake George aboard his beloved boat, "Finally", or enjoying summers in Cape Cod with his family. He will be remembered for his kind spirit and willingness to give of himself. Jim is survived by the love of his life and wife of 34 years, Catherine Moore, and their children Kristen (Kathryn), Jamie (Matthew), and Kelsey. He is also survived by his brothers, Ransom (Deborah) Moore Jr., Mark (Kelli) Moore; and sisters, Margaret (Daniel) Zukowski, Maureen Moore, and Marianne (Mark) Lindsay. James is also survived by a large extended family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jude the Apostle Church, Wynantskill at 9 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013. Calling hours will be held Friday, January 4, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144 in memory of James E. Moore.
