Jayne Ann VanDenburgh

VanDenburgh, Jayne Ann HALFMOON Jayne Ann VanDenburgh, 51, passed away on Friday, October, 26, 2012 at Albany Medical Center, due of injuries suffered in a car accident, surrounded by her loving family. Jayne was born and raised in Schen-ectady, born May 23, 1961 the daughter of Mrs. Domenica Longo of Mechanicville, and the late David VanDenburgh. Jayne graduated from Mont Pleasant High School, Hudson Valley Community College and Empire State College. She was employed as an analyst for the NYS Dept. of Corrections. Jayne was a strong woman, overcoming brain surgery, radiation and chemotherapy in 2005, to go back to work. She loved gardening and rooting for her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. Jayne was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Crescent. Survivors in addition to her mother include sisters, Marie Farina of Mechanicville, Diane VanDenburgh of Schenectady and Lynne VanDenburgh of Colonie; her nieces, Antoinette and Isabella Farina, both of Mechanicville; along with aunts, uncles, cousins and their families. Jayne was predeceased by her grandparents, Bartolo G. and Catena DePasquale and Eldert and Florence VanDenburgh; as well as her brother-in-law, Joseph Farina. Upon her death, Jayne made an anatomical gift to Albany Medical College. Burial at St. Anthony's Cemetery on Glendrige Rd, Glenville at a future date.
