Joan A. Clark

Clark, Joan A. COHOES Joan A. Clark, 75, formerly of Albany and Columbia Crest Apartments of Cohoes, died peacefully Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Hudson Park Rehabilitation Center in Albany after a brief illness. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Louis M. and Elizabeth F. Green Parvis. She worked with her husband, Louis J. Clark at his newsstand for many years in the Ten Eyck Building and retired in 1995. Joan is survived by her loving children, Michael and his wife, Lorinda Lassone of Watervliet and Jeanne Fuda of Cornelius, N.C. She is the grandmother of Patrick Gerasia, Jacqueline Gerasia, Nicole Lassone, Lyndsey Gerasia, Anthony Lassone and Breanna Fuda; sister of the late Lois J. Gordon and C. Arthur Gordon; aunt of Kevin Gordon and Karen Link; and cousin of Earl and Judy Evans. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:30 at Holy Trinity Parish, 122 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes. Calling hours will be held Wednesday morning at the Stanton-Farrell Funeral Home, 326 Columbia St., Cohoes from 10 to 11, prior to the funeral Mass. Her interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery.
