Ciampolillo, Margaret A. (Fera) POESTENKILL Margaret A. (Fera) Ciampolillo, age 82, beloved wife of the late Nicholas W. Ciampolillo Sr. died on Monday, January 7, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Quinn Fera. She attended Troy schools and was a graduate of Troy High School. She was employed at Cluett Peabody and was a nurse's aide at St. Mary's Hospital, both in Troy. After that employment, she attended Albany Occupational School of Nursing and became an LPN in 1975. She was then employed by St. Mary's Hospital and after that by Dr. Amarana's Office in Troy, retiring in 1992. She had lived in Poestenkill most of her life. Mrs. Ciampolillo was a longtime communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. Survivors include her children, Nicholas W. (Rachel) Ciamp-olillo Jr. of Poestenkill, Timothy (Mindy) Ciampolillo of Lexington, Ky., Thomas (Toni) Ciampolillo of Scotia and Holly (John) Dodge of Glenville. She was predeceased by a daughter, Anne E. Ciampolillo. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, Bridget, Christopher, Alexandria, Zachary, Jake and Casey Ciampolillo and Kayla and Alexander Dodge; her great-grandchildren, Mia, Abigail, and Mackenzie Ciamp-olillo and a sister, Angela (the Late Jack) Fish of Troy. She was predeceased by two sisters, Catherine Thorpe and Mary Ann Stewart. She is additionally survived by many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be from Thomas S. Connolly Funeral Home, 294 Whiteview Rd., Wynantskill on Thursday, January 10 at 9:15 a.m and at 10:00 a.m. from St. Jude the Apostle Church, Wynantskill, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated by Rev. Anthony Ligato and Rev. John Varno. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. Contributions to St. Jude the Apostle Church Memorial Fund, 43 Brookside Ave., Wynantskill, NY 12198 in memory of Margaret would be appreciated.
