Mario A. deSousa

deSousa, Mario A. TAMPA, Fla. Mario A. deSousa, 78, of Tampa, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 16, 2012. Mario was born in Albany to Angelo and Zillah deSousa on November 10, 1934. He was a 39-year retiree from the New York State Office of General Services as a mechanical engineer and a past exalted ruler of the Colonie Elks BPDE 2192. He was a graduate from Purdue University, he resided in Albany and Londonville for 63 years and spent the last 15 years in Florida. He was predeceased by Marco and David Oropallo and sister, Willa deSousa. Survivors include his loving wife, M. Arlene deSousa; sons, Charles (Susan) Oropallo, William (Lynn) Oropallo, Christopher (Holly) Oropallo and Peter (Jacqueline) deSousa; daughter, Karen Doe (James); 11 grandchildren, Ryan, Morgan, Michael, Christina, Tiffany, Lauren, Nicholas, Danielle, Joshua, Joseph and Grant; brother, James Doe Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Cruz, Addison and Quinn and many nieces and nephews. Services will be at a later time, to be announced.
