Matilda D. Loudis

Loudis, Matilda D. ALBANY Matilda "Tillie" D. Loudis, 94, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 after a long illness. Born and educated in Albany, she was daughter of the late Thomas and Louise (Stock) Straw bridge. Tillie worked in the bakery at the former A & P Grocery store for many years. She was a longtime communicant of the former St. James Church (St. Francis of Assisi). Tillie was an avid bingo player, an excellent cook and the world's Greatest Grandma. She delighted in spending time with all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Raymond F. Loudis; mother of Raymond (Mary Jane) Loudis of Ft. Myers, Fla. and the late Frank M. (late Joan) Loudis; grandmother of Darcie (John) LaGrave of Nassau, Joan (Todd) McAuley, Frank (Lindsey) Loudis, David (Pam) Loudis, Cliff (Sue) Loudis all of Colonie, Raymond (Lynn) Loudis, Michael Loudis, both of Florida and the late Gregg Loudis; aunt of William (Beverly) Miller of Albany. She is also survived by 16 great-grand-children, two great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
