Joey, I think of you often. I think about all the Joy you brought into our lives and how proud your mom was of you. I remember so many things when you and Aaron were hanging out. But, mostly I remember the smile that you would give us when you two were up to no good. It was a smile that no one could resist smiling back. You will always be in our thoughts and will always be missed. I am thankful that we were able to know you. Edie thinking of you & Bob.Sending Hugs and Prayers.

You had this amazing ability , you where a Magnet and everyone wanted to be stuck to you. I still get goosebumps while telling your life story to anyone who will listen. The years 2003-2012 where and always be the best I ever had. Thank you for being my friend, I love you and miss you so much IYAOYAS!

Joe, I will never forget the morning that Samantha was born and how she just looked up at you and it seemed she just knew who you were. You were so gentle with her. I wish our family had been able to share many more special times with you. You are a part of our family forever.

Joe,
It's hard to decide which pains me more. The time that I wasted while you were here, or the time that we don't have now that you're no longer with us. Please know that I will never forget the moments we shared. I will always know you as my friend.
Yours always,
Terrance

Joe, It is hard putting into words how much the world misses you. My own grief and watching Emmie, Sami, and your family and mine grieve for you has been overwhelming. However having you in our lives and this tragic event has changed all of us drastically to live a little more like you did...living every minute to its fullest, look for adventures or outings that will be memorable, and to live in the present and not worry about what may be in the future. Thank you for impacting all of us so deeply, we will see you again someday, and we will never let Sami, Ethan, and Lincoln forget how great of a dad/uncle you were.
Love, Jamie, Terry, & Lincoln

Some of the bests memories I have of Joe are from when we performed in Vermillion, South Dakota and Joe stayed at my families house in Tyndall with Marlise, Annika Vogel, Chip and I, as well as all the dance rehersals we had together. Joe will be greatly missed. Best wishes from South Dakota to Joe's family, especially his babies.

My deepest condolences to Joe's family and children, he will be greatly missed. Joe had once told me that when you look up in the night's sky and you see the North Star, that no matter how far away he was; by looking to that star you were right next to him. I pray that Joe's family remember these words, and looks to the stars. Joe was a true friend of mine, that I had the pleasure of meeting in Up With People; Cast C 2000. Joe has had a huge impact on my life, I am so fortunate to have known him. He had a kind heart and a real passion for life… he will remain forever in our hearts...

I was incredibly saddened to hear of Joe's passing. He was such a light in our Up With People group. I will always remember him in his African costume opening up the show. He loved to dance and brought his East Coast spunk and personality to our group. I am very sorry for your loss.
