Although I don't know you, I have read the articles in the paper about your daughter. A beautiful person who led an exemplary life. The story of her life may inspire others to lead a similar life of goodness insuring that Deanna's legacy will continue in the future. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

There is no greater loss than that of your child. I pray that the love and support that surrounds you bring you peace. Watch for signs, I am sure she'll give them. Knowing the pain you are feeling when someone you love is taken from you so soon and so unexpected. This was read to us at our 3 year old sons funeral. May it bring you peace and comfort.
This is a Poem from God to the Parents

My heart is broken to hear of the loss of your daughter. I'm sorry I didn't have the pleasure to know Deanna but I am a mother of an 8 year old girl and I can't imagine the pain you are suffering. I can only pray time will try to heal the pain.

We did not know Deanna directly but my 9th grade daughter said she was a great softball player and an excellent coach to the younger kids. We can't imagine losing our girls and we want you to know how much we have thought about her and wish we could hug away all the pain you are in. We are so proud of all the Shen kids for banning together for this horrible time in your lives. Just know we are here for you and think about Deanna, Chris, Matt and Bailey every day. My daughter-A columbia high school senior was also at the same game that night and it hit so close to home that she too could be gone in such a senseless tradgedy.
