LaBelle, Mary Helen LATHAM Mary Helen LaBelle, 70, of Latham, beloved wife of the late Richard LaBelle, died suddenly Saturday, April 8, 2017, at her home in Latham. Born in Syracuse on January 29, 1947, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Meagher) McDonald. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years at the Teresian House in Albany, and later with Maxim Health Care as a visiting nurse. She was formerly a Franciscan Nun and a member of the St. Francis Associates program in Syracuse. Mary was an officer in the ladies auxiliary of the Ancient Order of Hibernian's in Troy. She was a member of the St. Pius X choir and served as a Eucharistic minister at the church for many years. She was a volunteer for the St. Peter's Breast Cancer Center in Albany and a member of the Red Hats Society. Survivors include her siblings, John (Karen) McDonald, Michael (Deborah) McDonald, Theresa (Bill) Joslin of Latham, Kathleen White and Kevin (Heidi Weinman) McDonald. Mary is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Matthew White. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
