I did not know Martha other than to paddle with her on Monday mornings. I always recall a smiling face in that pink kayak!!! We enjoyed her joyous company. May you find peace in those kinds of happy memories.

I knew Martha from Quilt North. She was an exceptional quilter, and a wonderful person to know. We all always enjoyed the beautiful "eye candy" she brought to share with us.

Martha... warmth, joyous, kind, sweet, funny... all of these she brought to each time we met and shared.... I will miss you ... but will see you in your kayak, chasing the geese, searching for caches.... love and light Karen

Dear May Elinor, Steven, Tom, Jason, Tom Jr, and family, I feel very sad tonight to hear of Martha's passing. As a Clapboard Hill neighbor, and being a year younger than Martha, I remember her as always being a sweet, sensitive, genuine soul. Sending you all my love, Holly Helander Whelan
