Myllo, Aileen C. NISKAYUNA Aileen Myllo made her journey to the House of the Lord Tuesday, January 15, 2013 after a long battle with MS. Aileen was born in Camden, N.J. September of 1942, the daughter of the late Thomas and Evelyn Brooks Gleason. She and her family migrated to the town of Mount Marion in the Kingston region and she was a graduate of Saugerties Central High School, class of 1959. Aileen was a graduate of State Teacher's College where she received her bachelor's degree in May of 1963. She was a homemaker while raising her son and then later worked in a variety of school systems in the Capital District. Aileen was involved in many physical activities. She was a former exercise instructor at the former Spa Lady Salon. She achieved a Third Degree Black Belt in Karate and was associated with the US Budokai Association of Albany. She was an avid cyclist and enjoyed swimming at various swimming clubs during the summer. She loved to go dancing with her husband Chris and one of her greatest joys was traveling with her husband to many parts of the world. Aileen was an animal lover and had many pets during her lifetime. She was the proprietor of "Cats Pajamas" a pet care service and is also survived by her two cats, Elizabeth and Beau Didiey. Beloved wife of Christopher Myllo; loving mother of Christopher Myllo Jr. and his wife Michelle of Peoria, Ariz. and cherished grandmother of Mark and Katherine Myllo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Griswold Funeral Home, 1867 State St., Schenectady. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home 10 to 12 Saturday before the service. Interment will be in The Niskayuna Reformed Church Cemetery, Niskayuna.
