LoBuglio, Albert S. SELKIRK It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Albert S. LoBuglio, 94, of Selkirk. Albert passed away in the early hours of Friday, November 30, 2012 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Delmar. He was born March 27, 1918 in Buffalo and married Carmela Minnuto on November 3, 1945. Albert served proudly in the United States Navy from September 1937 to April 1957, and served in the Naval Fleet Reserve until retiring in August 1967 with the rank of yeoman petty officer-second class. He was waiting for reassignment from the USS Arizona when the attack on Pearl Harbor began on December 7, 1941. Albert also spent 21 years working for the state of New York. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time in his garden. Albert is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Carmela; their daughters, Mary Ohlson of Massachusetts and Joyce Mohan of California and two grand-daughters, Laryssa Hiller of Massachusetts and Catherine Mohan of California. Albert's son, Michael LoBuglio, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Entombment will follow in St. Patrick's Mausoleum, Coeymans. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Legion Post 1040, 16 W. Poplar Drive, Delmar, NY 12054, of which Albert was a member.
