A lifelong resident of Menands, she was educated in Albany at St. Joseph's Academy and was a graduate of Mildred Elley School. With her late husband, J. Leonard Brunelle, she raised her family there. Ann enjoyed a career in state government service working for the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles and had been retired for some years. She was a devout person of faith and was a communicant of St. Joan of Arc Church in Menands where she was a member of the Rosary Society there. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid reader but her greatest joy in her life was her family, and she was dearly devoted to them. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many and will be greatly missed. Ann is survived by her devoted children, Diane Brunelle and Linda Brunelle of Menands, and Corinne "Connie" Brunelle of the Town of Pittstown; her cherished grandchildren, Brian (Heather) Rozmierski of Menands, Shannon (Alan) McClary of Amsterdam and Ryan Foley of Fort Edward; treasured great-grandchildren, Tim Rozmierski and Ian and Kaitlynn McClary; her sister-in-law Rita Brunelle of Troy and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, husband and siblings, she was predeceased by her beloved son, Charles L. Brunelle. Funeral services to celebrate Ann's life will be held on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 9 a.m., at St. Joan of Arc Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
