Small, Beatrice WILLISTON, Vt. Beatrice Gloria Davis Small, passed peacefully from this earth on January 16, 2014. Predeceased last April by beloved husband, Peter; devoted mother of Andrea (Hans Schoenecker) and Eric (Dina Lehrer); grandmother to Asher and Leo; sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, friend. Accomplished interior designer; lover of beauty, antiques, all things French, New York City, the theatre, the opera, Charlie Chaplin, Provincetown, Hudson River painters, the right carpet with the right drapes, a clean house, the Sunday Times; but most of all her beloved Poppy, her children, and grandchildren. Bea loved her friends deeply and loved participating in social and family gatherings. A single child from modest beginnings, Bea followed her heart all the way through Parsons School of Design. The homes she decorated left memorable impressions on all who experienced them. Mom, Nana, Aunt Bea, Sister Bea, Cousin Bea, dear friend, your passing leaves a hole in our hearts.
