Pendergast, C. Marie BRUNSWICK C. Marie(Brady) Pendergast, 91, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully January 7, 2013. Born in Helena, Mont., October 3, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Francis J. Brady and Margaret E. O'Shea Brady. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart School, Salina, Kan. and Brown Mackie College, Salina. She retired from New York Telephone Company in 1985. Marie was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Troy. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed crocheting and traveling. She was a member of Spring Ave. Block Rosary, Sacred Heart Church Altar Rosary Society, a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers, Birchkill Arts & Crafts Guild and East Side Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband, William J Pendergast and daughter, Marian "MiMi" Glogowski. Marie is survived by her children, William (Judy) Pendergast of Flat Rock, N.C., Margaret (Richard) Wolfe of North Port, Fla., Michael (Bonnie) Pendergast, John (Laurie) Pendergast, Marie (James) Hoin, all of Brunswick and Matthew (Elizabeth) Pendergast of Wynantskill; her son-in-law, Philip Glogowski of Brunswick; grandchildren, Michelle (Dave Penissi), Michael (Tricia) and Milissa Pendergast, William (Michelle) and Edward (Carol) Murray, William, John and Casey Pendergast, Justin and Ashley Hoin, Shannon and Jason Glogowski, Kiley and Erin Pendergast; step-grandchildren, Chris (Jennifer), Gary (Karen) and Randy (Joanne) Wolfe. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Tyler and Mason Pendergast, Rachael and Ryan Murray, Faith, Romeyn and MaryAnn Murray; step-great-grandchildren, Jessica, Shea, Morgan, Devon, Sydney, Adam, Sabrina and Alex Wolfe; her brother, John (Mabel) Brady of Salina, Kan. and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. A very special thank you to the entire staff of A1 at Van Rensselaer Manor. Your extraordinary daily compassionate loving impeccable care helped our mother live her final days with dignity and comfort. The funeral will be on Friday at 10 a.m. from the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home, 510 Pawling Ave. at Parkview Court, Troy and at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Troy where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's memory may be made to Sacred Heart Church, Troy or to Sacred Heart Church or School in Salina, Kan.
