Greene, Charlene TROY Charlene "Big Mama" Cesario Greene, 51, of 5th Ave. died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Troy she was the daughter of Anthony A. and June Butler Gillie of Troy. She was a 1979 graduate of Lansing-burgh High School. Charl-ene was employed for 10 years by New York State Office of General Services in Albany and retired last year due to disability. Prior to that she was employed by National School Bus Co. She was a member of the C.S.E.A. Charlene was a very out going person and loved to be around people. She enjoyed going on cruises and also had a fondness for flowers. In addition to her parents she is survived by her children, Kyle V. Cesario, David S. Greene and Kevin W. Greene all of Troy; her siblings, Nicholas J. Cesario, Anthony J. Cesario and Shawn M. Gillie all of Troy. Also surviving are her dear friends, Katherine Skaarup, Audrey Vallee Gezzo, Linda Connors Simonian and Jonathan Gonzalez all of Troy as well as several nieces and nephews. Charlene is the granddaughter of the late William and Kathryn Butler. Funeral services will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford. Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.
