It seems heartbreakingly impossible that we are coming up on 10 years since the untimely passing of you and Deanna. I still remember that morning and it still breaks my heart. Your families and friends have done such a wonderful job keeping your spirits alive and your memory strong! May God keep all of you in his hand. And may your memory be eternal.

I just had to come by and give my condolances. I don't know any of the families hurt by this tragedy personally. I read Baileys book and from that I learned and got to know Chris. He would be the dream of any parents that would want somebody like him for their daughters. God Bless you all.

I did not know Chris but from what I heard at the vigil and from Miss Bailey Wind, whom I don't know either but feel like I do, that Chris IS a truly special human being. I did not know Chris but after this past week, I now feel like I did.. I lost a cousin athlete and best friend at 15 and will never forget the pain I and our family experienced. Our hearts have felt the pain you are going through when someone is taken from us so soon and so uexpected. This was read to us at our 3 year old sons funeral. May it bring peace and comfort to you.

Terri and I were shocked and saddened to hear about Chris.
Only God knows the reason He calls one of his children home at such a young age but our prayer is that you kling to God and each other during this time.
I do not have to tell you that Chris was a special kid but I did want to pass along that most of the conversation we and the coaches had during his Jr Plainsmen years were about his character and not just his playing ability. Even at a young age Chris stood out as an example of the type of young man we all hope our kids grow up to be.

She said that Chris was literally the nicest person she had ever met, always so friendly and positive. (Here is a photo of Emily with Chris at the Shaker Junior Prom, one where he is actually smiling with his teeth! They camped out in our backyard afterwards, and Chris was a big help.)
