Fredenburgh, Dana K. BURNT HILLS Dana K. Fredenburgh, 70, passed away Friday, December 7, 2012. Born in Niskayuna, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Alice Klapper Ford. Dana was a graduate of Scotia High School, class of 1960, and a graduate of Oneonta State College, class of 1964. She was a teacher for Hillsdale Elementary School for a short time before becoming a homemaker. Dana's greatest joy was being a dedicated mother to her children and was very involved with their sports, Scouts, and dance activities. She enjoyed bowling and, along with her late husband, she was a former member of the Burnt Hills Saturday Nite Mixers. Dana was a substitute teacher for many years with the Ballston Spa School District and until her retirement she enjoyed working at the Mail 'N' More in Burnt Hills and Troy. Beloved wife of 20 years to the late Harry A. Fredenburgh Sr.; loving mother of Harry A. Fredenburgh Jr. of Burnt Hills and Robin Fredenburgh of Burnt Hills; sister of Barbara Natoli. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, December 13 at the White Funeral Home, 264 N. Ballston Ave., Scotia. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie. Donations in Dana's name may be made to animalovers.org.
