Sister Denise completed her bachelor of arts degree in chemistry with a minor in mathematics from St. Joseph College, Emmitsburg, Md., in 1969. Memories and Condolences

Not sure what to say?

Denise and I grew up together upon high school graduation our lives differed, I went to Vietnam to be forever changed she to her calling, changing others forever. Our paths crossed a few times, our last, a few days together at our 50th reunion in 2014. We always continued discussions from decades ago and parted company until our next encounter. That is my bittersweet and enduring joy of knowing Sister Denise. Her Dad, Charlie, was our Police Chief and one of the village who brought me up, straight and strong.
With great love and fond memories, I will miss Denise for the remainder of my life. Doing well by Doing Good.

I am so sad to hear of Sister Denise's passing. We worked together at Laboure College. I will never forget the smile as she looked up from her work, her kindness, and her gardening advice.

I remember Sister Denise from UCA 1975-1976. Science not being one of my favorite subject, I found it so much easier being taught by her. I remember her having a great sense of humor. I have since moved to CA and often wonder about the wonderful nuns of UCA. Thank you Sister Denise!

Sister Denise was a very talented Daughter of cHarity and was oh so generous in sharing her gifts with everyone. She is a big loss to our Province and I am certain she gained heaven with her arms full of good works and wondering where the gardens are! Rest In Peace, good and faithful servant!

I am so sorry to hear of Sr. Denise's passing. I enjoyed so much working with her at Laboure. We saw the X-Files movie together and had great discussions on the series. We exchanged Christmas letters this year and I had no clue it would be our last. May she rest in peace.
