Wall, Edmund F. SYRACUSE Edmund F. Wall, 84, of Syracuse, formerly of Albany and Phoenix, Ariz., passed away Friday after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was born in Troy, the son of the late Michael and Anna Keegan Wall. Ed served his country as a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He was a 1946 graduate of LaSalle Institute in Troy, and RCA Institutes in 1954. Ed was a longtime board member of the Capital Communications FCU and retired from AT&T after a long career. He was predeceased by his siblings, Thomas, Capt. Howard, Donald, Richard, Marjorie Nuttall and Anne Barry; survived by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Halloran Wall; children, Elizabeth A. (Steven) Sloane of Syracuse, Howard J. Wall of Ballwin, Mo., Diane M. Wall of St. Louis, Kenneth M. Wall of New York, N.Y.; grandchildren, Mika and Kyoko Wall of Ballwin; brother-in-law, the Rev. Joseph L. Halloran of Albany and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private.
