Butler, F. James "Jim" BRANT LAKE F. James "Jim" Butler, 66, died Tuesday September 4, 2012 at Glens Falls Hospital. Born January 16, 1946 in Albany, he was the son of the late Myron Guy and Helen (Sweet) Butler. Jim was formerly of Rensselaer and vacationed at Brant Lake all of his life and in 1996 he became a full time resident. For the past seven years he was a resident at The Orchard Nursing Home in Granville. Jim was a self-employed electrician and he owned Triple A Electric in Rensselaer and Butler Electric in Brant Lake. He also was employed as a bus driver for North Warren Central School District. He also collected antique Chrysler Imperials. Besides his parents he is predeceased by one brother, Joseph Butler; one sister, Joann Reiman. Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Yvonne (Monsour) Butler of Brant Lake; four brothers, Mickey (Pat) Butler of Brant Lake, Don (Darlene) Butler, of Brant Lake, Robert (Jen) Butler of Castleton, Wesley Butler of Brant Lake; four sisters, Janet McCauley, Sandra (Jim) Endres, Linda Remington, and Liz (Ken) Bloomer all of Rensselaer, also many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday, September 7 and from 10 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8 at Barton-McDermott Funeral Home, Inc., 9 Pine St., Chestertown, NY 12817. Funeral services 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Brant Lake Cemetery, Brant Lake. The family would like to thank the staff at the Orchard Nursing Home for all their care and kindness.
