Flint, Florence L. COBLESKILL Florence L. Flint, 89, formerly of Early Woodland Apartments in Cobleskill, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at her daughters residence in Schoharie while being cared for by her family. Mrs. Flint was born December 8, 1923 in Ogden-sburg, N.Y. a daughter of Edwin J. and Margaret F. (Murphy) Lenney. She graduated from Potsdam High School and later the Ottawa Nursing School in Canada. After raising her family, Mrs. Flint began her nursing career and retired from Dr. Raymond's practice in Albany after many years of service. She practiced her Catholic faith at St. Thomas R.C. Church in Delmar and St. Vincent de Paul R.C. Church in Cobleskill. She was married to William S. Flint on December 27, 1947. They made their home in Delmar for many years until his death March 29, 2000. Survivors include two children, Judith A. (Richard) Sherman of Schoharie and William S. (Patricia) Flint of Albany; three grand daughters, Joi, Sara and Cheri; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edwin (Mary) Lenney of Lexington, Ky. and Frank (Mary) Lenney of Potsdam; along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Mark in 1966. A funeral prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday January 2, 2013 at the Langan Funeral Home, 327 Main St. Schoharie, followed by interment in Bethlehem Cemetery, Delmar.
