Winoski, Frank GUILDERLAND Frank Winoski died May 13, 2012 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, after a long illness. He was a resident of Guilderland. Mr. Winoski was born in Holyoke, Mass. in 1937. Educated in the Holyoke school system, he later received a B.S. from Springfield College and an M.S.W. from SUNY-Albany. A Navy veteran of the Korean War, he worked for the former New York State Division for Youth for 31 years. Prior to his retirement, he was director of the Capital District Group Homes. Mr. Winoski leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Kathleen (Bresnahan); a son, Brian and his wife, Robin. He also leaves a granddaughter and three grandsons. Per Frank's wishes, there are no calling hours or services as he has made an anatomical gift to Albany Medical College. Donations may be made to Hospice Foundation, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144. Please mark for Hospice Inn at St. Peter's.
