Mayo, Jeffery P. GLENVILLE Jeffery P. Mayo, 56, of Maple Avenue, passed away peacefully at his home on May 16, 2013 with his family at his side. Born and raised in Shawmut, Maine, he is the beloved son of David and Beverly Works Mayo. Jeffery graduated from Lawrence High School in Maine where he grew up. He married Geniene Bacon on March 30, 1985. Jeff worked as a machinist in Billerica, Maine, and for General Electric in Schenectady prior to his service for the last 15 years at ZAK Inc. in Green Island. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, fishing, hunting and camping. Jeff enjoyed the game of golf with his friends, and rooting for his favorite teams, the Boston Red Sox and Green Bay Packers. He was a communicant of Faith Baptist Church in Rexford. He is survived by his cherished wife of 28 years, Geniene Mayo; his loving daughters, Ashley, Chelsea and Lindsay Mayo, all of Glenville; brothers, Michael (Tina) Mayo of Canaan, Maine, Stephen (Melanie) Mayo of Fairfield, Maine, James Mayo of Benton, Maine, Timothy (Karen) Mayo of Sidney, Maine and Ronald (Heather) Mayo of Skowhegan, Maine; sisters, Corrisann (Joseph) Vigue of Skowhegan, Donna (Robert) Fortin of Winslow, Maine and Mary (Brian) Wadleigh of Fairfield. Surviving also are numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2013 at Faith Baptist Church, 11 Glenridge Road in Rexford. Calling hours, Sunday 4 to 7 p.m. at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville. Interment, Prospect Hill Cemetery in Guilderland. Contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church, Helping Hands Fund, 11 Glenridge Road, Rexford, NY 12148.
