Burnham, John H. Jr. SCHODACK John H. Burnham Jr. passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at his residence along side the love of his life Donna Burnham. John worked as a carpenter for Local 370 and Amtrak before his retirement. John was well known for his natural skill of cake decorating. His specialty was his cheese-cake. Throughout his retirement, John enjoyed operating a vending business throughout various functions in the capital district. He was well known for his famous fried dough. John also introduced the "chicken wing" to the capital region after his many travels to Buffalo. He was very proud of his grandsons for both being accepted into the Electricians Union. John is predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Burnham. He is survived by his cherished wife of 46 years Donna (Roberts) Burnham; children, Renae Burnham, John Burnham III., and Holly (Burnham) Paschal; grandchildren, Gavin Carney, Hayden Carney, Qalore Paschal and Symme Paschal; sisters, Bonnie Swochak, and Gail (Jack) Morocco. He especially thought the world of his nieces and nephew, Andrea Kannes, Jennifer and David Bogart along with their children, Emma and Mora. He is also survived by a host of brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer, Sunday evening at 7:00. All are welcome to attend.
