Patrizio, Joseph P. CLIFTON PARK Joseph P. Patrizio, 58, died peacefully Tuesday evening, July 16, 2013 at his home with his family at his side. Born in Troy on May 29, 1955, he was the son of the late Michael J. and Louise H. Gongoleski Patrizio. Joe was raised in Latham but spent his childhood in Watervliet growing up around Brotherhood Park and attending the Immaculate Conception School in Watervliet. He later attended Shaker High School and graduated from Hudson Valley Community College with an A.A.S. degree in welding. He was employed by GE Silicones and later by Momentive Performance Materials in Waterford for over 30 years as a welder. Joe enjoyed camping and fishing and loved to travel. He was a NASCAR fan of Jimmy Johnson #48. But most of all, he loved his family. He is the beloved husband of 38 years of Kathleen M. Dugan Patrizio; devoted father of Joseph P. (Claudia) Patrizio Jr. of Orlando, Fla., Daniel J. Patrizio and Nicholas A. Patrizio both of Clifton Park; proud "Poppy" of Nicholas, Alexander, Gabriella and Angelina Patrizio; loving brother of Lois (Doug) Russell of Connecticut, Phyllis Strasdin of Montana, Barbara Patrizio of Latham, Christine (Tim) Wilder of Johnstown, Michael (Alana) Patrizio of Latham, Matthew (Joan) Patrizio of Ballston Lake and Thomas Patrizio of Saratoga Springs; son-in-law of Raymond Dugan and Margaret Dugan; brother-in-law of James (Jean) Dugan, Susan (Mike) Westhead and Stephen (Elie) Dugan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 25th St. & 7th Ave., Watervliet with Rev. L. Edward Deimeke officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet on Friday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the , 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110.
