Pucci, Joseph P. COHOES Joseph P. Pucci, , 79, of Cohoes passed away after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late Paul Pucci and Alice Grestini, Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Maria Zandri (Bertrand); his children, Carl (Marcia) Pucci of Niska-yuna, Karen (Scott) McQuide, of Schenectady and Joey (Cindy) Pucci of Voorheesville; and his sister, Marie (Emery) Carey of Cohoes. Predeceased by siblings, Charles Pucci and Pauline Gilbert; and loving nephew, Timothy Carey. Joe was also predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Phyliss Marinucci (Pucci). Joe is survived by his adoring grandchildren, David, Morissa, Kate, Emily, and Hillary. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Joe was fortunate through his marriage to Maria Bertrand to have a loving, extended family, Patrick, Eric, Matthew, Christian, Christopher and Valerie, as well as several grandchildren. Joe was a member of Albany Carpenter's Local #370 as well as a dedicated member of Albany Musicians' Local # 14. He was the last surviving member of the "Hi-Fives", a popular local band for over 40 years. Joe enjoyed traveling and with his son, Joey, at his performances across the country. Joe enjoyed traveling to Cape Cod, the Outer Banks and Florida with his family and friends, the Savages. He enjoyed golfing, cooking, bocce on the beach, the big bands and was a life long New York Giants fan. He specialized in home repairs and his carpentry skills are evident throughout his children's homes. In his retirement he enjoyed driving residents at the Eddy Memorial. He and his wife Maria were parishioners of Sacred Heart Church in Troy. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at St. Peter's Cardiac unit, particularly Dr. Saifi for the care he received.
