Judith Parrotte Obituary

Parrotte, Judith Anne (Ruddeforth) COXSACKIE Judith Anne Ruddeforth Parrotte passed away August 31, 2011, after a brief illness. Judy was born at Wesson's Women's Hospital in Springfield, Mass., on October 22, 1945. She was raised in Agawam, Mass. and graduated from Agawam High School in 1963. Judy attended Holyoke Community College and Clinton Community College where she received her associate's of arts degree. She went on to SUNY Plattsburgh where she received her bachelor's degree and completed graduate work. For seven and a half years, Judy taught in Northern Adirondack Central School system, then relocated to teaching at Coxsackie Correctional Facility for 23 years. Judy is survived by her beloved children, Brian and Karen; daughter-in-law, Erin; grandchildren, Jailyn and Grady Parrotte; and extended family, Arthur Parrotte, Marvina Parrotte, Monica Kenny, Daniel Parrotte, Doreen Brown-Harty, Zachary Brown, Kaitlynn Harty, and Isabella Harty. Calling hours will be held at W. C. Brady's Sons, Inc. Funeral Home, 97 Mansion Street, Coxsackie, on Saturday, September 3, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. Electronic condolences may be made at www.wcbradyssonsinc.net.
