Leonard will always be remembered for the joy he brought to others and his ability to face life and any adversity in life with a smile and never a complaint. As a family we were blessed to have a father, grandfather, great-grandfather who showed his love for his family every day of his life, he was a very caring, loving and generous man. His smile would light up a room! He recently had gone on the Patriot Honor Flight this past October describing it as "As one of the best days of my life!" Leonard enjoyed spending time on his computer playing card games, the slots and he enjoyed reading. Leonard retired from Abele Tractor and Company where he was vice-president and office manager. He was a member of the Colonie Senior Citizens where he enjoyed many days' playing cards and the American Legion Joseph E. Zaloga Post 1520. In his younger days Leonard belonged to the Delmar Majors bowling league.
