Lynne Salvie Obituary

Salvi, Lynne M. (Bieg) EUGENE, Ore. Lynne M. (Bieg) Salvi, 48, of Eugene and formerly of Raymertown, died suddenly Friday, September 23, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Troy, November 2, 1962, Lynne is the daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth "Bette" Bieg of Raymertown. Lynne was an honors graduate of Tamarac High School, class of 1980 and lived most of her life in the greater Albany area. For several years she was employed by several local businesses including the former Gardenway Company and Cumberland Farms. More recently she had been employed as a very compassionate and gifted home health aide for several home health agencies and hospitals. A student of the Holy Bible, Lynne was a creative poet and gifted artist. She left us too soon and some of her works and drawings will soon be published in a collection entitled "Stars in our Hearts." In 2010 Lynne relocated to the northwest and made her home in Eugene and became a member of the Eugene Faith Center. She recently became active with Mind Freedom, an organization dedicated to mental health reform and human rights. Some of her work and writings have been published on the Mind Freedom website. In addition to her parents, Lynne is survived by the loves of her life, a son, Brett Hansen of Seattle; a daughter, Amber (Tom) Lewis of Denver; two sisters, Laurie (Roy) Stowell of Grafton, Lisa (Paul) Daley of Brunswick; two brothers, Scott (Heidi) Bieg of Averill Park, and Christian (Stephanie) Bieg of Webster; nieces, Ashley, Amanda, Erika and Briana; nephews, Andrew, Bennett, Justin, John, Joel and Jacob; and dear friend and cousin, Valerie Bergstein. Lynne blessed us all in so many ways. We will celebrate those blessings in a memorial celebration as we remember her on Sunday, October 2, 2011, at 5 p.m. at the Brunswick Church, 42 White Church Ln., Troy, NY 12180. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the hurch on Sunday afternoon from 4-5 p.m. prior to the memorial service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. At the request of the family, gifts in memory of Lynne, if desired, may be made to; Light of the World Christian Church, 28 Sparrowbush Road, Latham, NY 12110 or to Eugene Faith Center, 1410 West 13th Avenue, Eugene, OR 97402.
