Perfetti, Marie SLINGERLANDS A. Marie Perfetti, 81, of Slingerlands, formerly of Grafton, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, passed into eternal rest at her residence on Tuesday evening, September 30, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born in Troy and was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Carmen Zirpolo Turino and loving wife of the late Peter J. Perfetti who passed away in 2001. Marie had been employed at the Watervliet Arsenal, before becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and spending time at the family home in Grafton. But the passion in Marie's life was always spending time with her family. Marie is survived by her daughters, Linda (Michael) Esposito of Wynantskill and Paula (Collette) Perfetti of Guilderland. She was pre- deceased by her son, Ronald M. Perfetti. Marie is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Diana Perfetti of Latham and her grandchildren, Micah (Joanne), Jason (Julie), Joshua (April), Tina, Matthew (Laura), Brian, Jeremy, Simone and Sophia and her great-grandchildren, Olivia, Gianna, Ava, Eli, Emma, Jack, Joseph and Anthony. Marie is the sister of Mary (the late George) Howe, John (Carol) Turino, Christine (Al) Palladino, Lawrence (Jean) Turino, Steven Turino, Theresa (Gerald) Spencer and was pre-deceased by Carl (the late Louise) Turino, Pasquale, Florence, Rose (the late William), Lucille (the late Narcissus), Joseph (the late Pauline), Anna and Blaise. She is also the sister-in-law of Robert Farrell and her sister-in-law Mary Turino. Marie is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Helen and Margaret Perfetti, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Marie will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 8:45 a.m. at The Bocketti Funeral Home, 336 Third St., Troy, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael the Arch Angel Church, on Williams Road, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7 p.m. Interment Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.
