Ford, Mary Ellen ALBANY After a courageous battle with cancer, Mary Ellen Ford, 59, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 26, 2012. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of Mary (McCall) Ford of Albany and the late Donald P. Ford. Mary Ellen was a graduate of the former Vincentian High School and earned her bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from Excelsior College. Mary Ellen was an Avon representative for 20 years. She loved Irish Music, dolls, Christmas, fashion, interior decorating, tea, craft shows, children's literature and her kitty, Paddy. Mary Ellen will be missed for her curiosity, spontaneity, generosity, appreciation of beauty and her attention to detail. She leaves behind several friends and relatives. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her siblings, Christine A. Ford and Donald P. (Mary Frances) Ford, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Daisy (Paul) Paglia, John, Thomas, Frances, Bridget and Catherine Ford; and great-nephew Paul Paglia. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave., thence to All Saints Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. Interment, St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
