George, Mathai Kolath REXFORD Mathai Kolath George, 42, passed away suddenly in a fatal airplane accident along with his son, George on Sunday, June 14, 2009. He was born the second child of the late Dr. Kim George and Chinn-amma George in Kerala, India on January 28, 1967. Mathai immigrated to the U.S. 20 years ago. He was a successful entrepreneur. He was the founder and CEO of Kolath Hospitality Group. His hobbies included boating, golf and a passion for flying. Though he will be greatly remembered as a very successful businessman by the world, he will be most remembered for being a strong man, caring father, loving husband, faithful son, compassionate friend and a mentor/thoughtful big brother. Mr. George is survived by his wife, Annie Kolath and five children, Thomas, Alexander, Diana, Victoria and Sara. Wake services will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Armenian Apostolic Church, 100 Troy-Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY 12189.
