Gaus, Maureen ALBANY Maureen Gaus, 66, of Albany, died Monday, February 11, 2013 after a prolonged battle with cancer. Born on April 24, 1946 in Albany, she was the loving daughter of Herbert and Ann (Fahy) Boyle of Albany, both of whom are deceased. She was the devoted wife of 37 years and indeed the best friend of Louis Gaus. Together they ran a successful printing business, Manus Press, offering exquisite historical stationery and note paper at various fine arts and craft venues in the Capital District area. Maureen was a most accomplished and articulate woman with a wide variety of intellectual interests and pursuits which she happily and lovingly shared with Lou. Maureen will also be sorely missed by her brother, Michael Boyle (Marie, deceased); and sister, Julie Murphy (Robert); as well as Lou's daughters, Susan Trottier and Debbi Regimbald and their six children. She will also be mourned by her nephews whom she dearly loved and enjoyed, David Ranford (Jessica), Kevin Ranford (Christine), Michael Boyle (Tanith) and Daniel Murphy; along with four grand-nieces and nephews. Funeral services Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 12 p.m. in the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday, after 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
