DePasquale, Michelle D. Sorell MECHANICVILLE Michelle D. Sorell DePasquale, 42, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 4, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Albany. She graduated from Mechanic ville High School in 1988. Michelle was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Michelle worked at Excelsior College as an academic system and data specialist for the past 18 years. Michelle was very devoted to her children's lives. You could often find her cheering on the sidelines of a sporting event or coaching one of the girls' soccer games. Michelle was very instrumental in keeping the third generation of HRT Soccer Club alive. Michelle fought her battle with dignity and grace, never drawing attention to herself and if ever asked how she was doing would always quote, "it is what it is." Michelle will be greatly missed by her loving husband, John DePasquale; her two daughters, Michalena and Angelia; and her mother, Michalena Partak Sorell (predeceased father, Gerald "Jerry" Sorell). She was the daughter-in-law to Elizabeth and Tony Chiera and John DePasquale Jr.; sister of Deborah (David) Clements, and Denise (Howard) Sorell; sister-in-law to Nicole (Donald) Campbell; loving aunt of David and Anthony Clements; and goddaughter to Ann (Steve) Cerone. The family asks if you have a personal experience of how Michelle touched your life, to please write a note and send it to, Deborah Clements, 134 S. Pearl St., Mechanicville NY 12118, so the family can make a memory book for her daughters to read. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 12 noon at All Saints on the Hudson Church (St. Paul's) 121 N. Main St., Mechanicville. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Mechanicville.
