Martinelli, Phyllis J. STILLWATER Mrs. Phyllis J. Martinelli, 81, of Hudson Avenue, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at her home, in the loving company of her family. Born July 7, 1931 in Mechanicville, where she lived for many years, daughter of the late Raphael and Rose Taglione Costanzo. Phyllis was a home-maker, who years ago had worked at both the Stillwater Knitting Mill and White Sulpher Springs Hotel on Saratoga Lake. She took pride cooking and baking for her family and friends, enjoyed bingo and trips to the Racino, but most of all loved the company of her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Peter's Church in Stillwater. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Joseph; her sons, Wayne of Mechanicville, Jody and wife Carolyn of Schaghticoke and daughter Rosemarie Bitting of Stillwater; also her grandchildren, Erin, Daniel, Alana and Gianna Martinelli and twins Christopher and Amanda Bitting; brothers, Salvadore (Helen) Costanzo of Clifton Park and Ralph (Majiel) Costanzo of Michigan and sister, Susan (Michael) Maloney of Mechanicville; along with nieces, nephews and their families. Phyllis was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Marge Sheehan Martinelli and niece, Teresa Costanzo. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at noon at All Saints on the Hudson North Church, (St. Peter's), No. Hudson Ave, Stillwater. Burial in Saratoga National Cemetery.
