Hutchins, Raymond C. ALBANY Raymond C. "Butch" Hutchins, born September 8, 1947, son of Theadora Herrmann Hutchins, passed away in Albany with his family by his side, on November 6, 2012, after a long illness. For many years, Butch was an active member of the Castle-ton Volunteer Ambulance, Schodack Valley Fire Depart-ment, and Rensselaer Elks, where he was Elk of the year in 1975. He attended Schodack Central Schools and was employed for many years with the IUOE Marine Division, Local 25, as well as, continuing his career with CDTA as a driver. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Connell Hutchins; sisters, Jean (William "Dick") Wernig of Schodack, Patricia (Kenneth) VanAllen of Valatie; brother, James Hutchins of DeLand, Fla.; stepsons, Tom Connell and Mickey (Michel) Connell of Troy; daughter, Kate (Matt) Entwistle of Litchfield, N.Y.; grandchildren, Caroline, Lucas and John Entwistle. Predeceased by his mother; brother, Richard John; half-brother, Ronnie and granddaughter, Grace Entwistle. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Friday 7 p.m. From the Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer. Friends may call prior to the service from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in Roseboom Cemetery, Roseboom, N.Y. at the convenience of the family. Light a condolence candle at wjrockefeller.com
