Vinehout, Robert E. Sr. STILLWATER Robert E. Vinehout Sr., 82, of Palmer Street, died Monday, April 8, 2013 at home, after a short illness. Bob worked many years at the former Freidricksons Barrel Co. in Waterford, and later helped out the Alonzo Fireworks Co. of Stillwater. Fishing was a passion of Bob's, as was NASCAR and the stock car racing circuit. A kind and quiet man, Bob kept to himself, but would always speak his mind. His thoughts were "tell it like it is and you get what you see". Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Diane Bressette Vinehout; daughter, Deborah Obama; and son, Robert Jr., both of North Carolina; granddaughters, Deborah Anna and Gabriela Nancy Christenson, along with his sister, Joan Doten of Ballston Spa and nieces, nephews and families. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Stillwater United Church, 135 Hudson Ave., Stillwater. Burial in Hudson View Cemetery, Mechanicville. Calling hours at the church on Saturday from 9-10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Stillwater United Church or the Church's Food Pantry, in memory of Robert E. Vinehout Sr. Visit to leave condolences or for directions.
